Hi Guys, Ethan, of course I respect your right to use whatever term feels right for you. I have been saying that all along - "That's what this was all about in the first place - having our own identities respected" were the words I used. I was ne...

Oh I'm so ticked off about this that I deleted the note asking people to write their MP's off my facebook. The conspiracy theorist in me is ever wondering if TAS and people like you Ethan are in the pocket of a government that wants to white-wash ...

I want to try to make this crystal clear... take as example a lesbian black woman. Unfortunately, in various places she would face discrimination on three fronts: 1. Sexual orientation, 2. Race, 3. Gender. Now if the LGB community were to disregar...

Just fyi ... i wrote my last comment before I saw your last comment (I was probably typing up mine at the same time you were posting yours). As a fan of poetry I have always found the english language interesting in how the meanings of words chang...

Well this is at the heart of what I'm driving at. As a transsexual woman, I felt left out of Ms. Stuart's statement. As I said... To me the term "transsexual" is concise and distinct. I am not "transgender". I am not "gender-variant". What I'm t...

I want to elaborate on my disappointment with Ms. Stuart's press release quote. It isn't my intention - and I don't think it's the intention of the community - to "challenge" society. Challenge means we're looking for a fight. That society's expec...

Hi Everybody and thanks Chico for posting this. Everybody here knows all too painfully well how important this is. I pasted it into a note on my Facebook as an appeal to my friends there to help too. However, there are some issues I have with the ...

Hi Kerrianne, Thanks for your comments and yes, they make a lot of sense. The harmony you speak of is so important in life as many of us know from experiencing lives 'out of tune' with who we truly are. "How you live up to the potential of your ...

Hi, I'm new here, so I just have to say something stupid, get it over with, and then I'll feel at home. :D I don't think anyone chooses their gender. An aspect of it is chosen for most of us when the doctors look between our legs and declare "it'...

Hi Everyone. Phoenix here. I got approved for surgery by the Assessors last week. It didn't feel like I imagined It would... At first I had to adjust to the scenario...two women assessors, one who was very warm... I was on a nice leather couch ...

I think that's what a lot of people who are not in the situation miss. The point that has failed to get across in the eyes of the masses. That it's not a Want, and maybe, really, not even a need. Rain falls towards the earth under the gentle press...

Ok, I didn't join gender blender to be spammed. There's nothing I want to buy. Please spare me the annoying comments telling me where to go to get my ringtones. I don't need any viagra either and you can go and use your penis extending products on yourself. Whatever it is your selling I don't want it. I would like to remain a member for a while but I'm out of here if it's going to be like this. Lilah Bass I hope you're getting… Continue

Hey Christine! Nice to see you on here :') Hope school's going great. My skin problem cleared up pretty soon after that incident. It seems it may have been the shaving cream I had .. it wasn't the usual one that I buy (which is EOS "Evolution Of Smooth" - I love that, very gentle and works great) .. I had bought a Rexall brand when I couldn't get to the store I usually go to and later when I checked the ingredients I found it had some pretty nasty stuff to be putting on skin (like Propane!! not to mention all sorts of other things found in car engines and such). When I stopped using that and went back to EOS the problem went away pretty quickly after that. Thanks for your tips though - good reminders that I need to keep my diet healthy (and I try). I miss you heaps! xo

Hormone changes can play a big role in your skin condition. You may be producing too much of one thing or not enough of another. If your skin is dry, you may need to add some oils (good oils) to your diet. This will help your body produce skin balance. The sex hormones belong to the lipid family of organic molecules in the body and are sometimes regulated by proteins. I am trying to say that a good diet is essential to homeostasis within the body . Vitamins can replace some foods that my be lacking in your diet. But remember, too much of anything is bad for the body. This includes over working your skin with cleansers and scrubs, over administering hormones, and and a diet that may be heavy on one food group, etc.

My best guess is that hormones are disrupting the essential balance in your body, possibly doses that are too high playing havoc on your liver and endocrine system as a whole. My advice would be to have your hormones reassessed by your physician and work toward a more balanced diet, if you are not already doing so.

Regards, Wannabe Dr, Christine

My skin problem seems to have cleared up. Facial hair growth has slowed down - back to 'normal' for me on my 400mg/day spiro. I still have a trace where the blisters were but that's going away slowly. I'm feeling a lot better now that I don't look so hideous :')

Aw thanks Christine :') That pic was taken a couple of weeks ago and omg since then I've been having awful problems with my face. Stubble's growing in faster than it has been since I started on spiro and my skin texture seems to have changed some, it's kind of oily too and my makeup doesn't apply properly. I had used a different shaving product that I had an adverse reaction to and so I stopped using that. Still the problems continue. I'm wondering if it could have something to do with my estradiol dose since my doc boosted that a few weeks ago. Can't afford laser yet but it might be a priority for June. Anyway, the problem's causing me a lot of stress lately. Well, you're a knockout and I would be jealous if I wasn't so happy for you and always feeling lucky to know you :') Thanks for the invite to gender blender too!
